From Fumba beach you depart with an original local wooden dhow boat to the first snorkelling spot at Menai Bay. The chance is big you will spot dolphins on your way. Snorkelling is a nice way to explore the wildlife under water. After that you go to the sandbank to relax a bit. Then it is time to go snorkelling in the Indian Ocean again in a different place. You will see large schools of fish and some beautiful corals.
Then you go to Kwale island where a nice seafood barbecue lunch awaits you. Of course you get different types of fresh seafood served and your guide will explain about the local fruit you will taste for dessert.
You will have some time to relax here and you can explore the old Baobab trees on the island. And maybe you will spot the coconut crab, the biggest crab on our planet.
In the afternoon you will visit the mangrove lagoon, a beautiful and special place. You can also swim for a while. Then it’s time to sail back to Fumba beach where this spectacular journey will end. A day you will not soon forget.
