Day 1

Airstrip Seronera in Serengeti – Asanja Moru / Serengeti

You fly on your own to the airstrip in Serengeti National Park where your unforgettable safari in Serengeti begins. Your guide / driver welcomes you and your trip is ready to start. During a game drive you drive to your tented camp, Asanja Africa Moru, where you will sleep for two nights. You will sleep in a luxury safari tent that makes you feel even more in the bush because you hear the sounds of the animals even better. The tent offers all the luxury you need, such as a good bed, comfortable chairs and a private toilet and shower. On your private veranda you can enjoy the view over the Serengeti plains.

Day 2

Asanja Moru in Serengeti

After your breakfast at a special location in the camp you make a game drive in the Moru area. With luck you will see a rhinoceros because this is the only area in Serengeti where they live. Of course you also visit the beautiful Moru “Kopjes” (the African word for rocks) where the area is so famous for. In one of the rocks are original Masai drawings. The environment is beautiful.

You return to the camp for lunch and at the end of the afternoon you make a walking safari with a ranger. A unique experience where you get a lot of explanation about the plants that grow here, birds and droppings of mammals. A very nice way to see Serengeti from a different view.

Day 3

Asanja Fly camp in Moru

Today you make a long game drive in another area of ​​the park. Depending on the time in the year where the animals are you are going to this area. End of the afternoon you return to Moru where you sleep in a very special camp. In the middle of the bush is your tent and only you sleep here (except a few staff members). You have the Serengeti for yourself and you can enjoy the most beautiful sky with millions of stars. The chef makes a real bush meal for you and you will enjoy the silence here. Except if the lions and hyenas do not stop….

If you want to make a balloon safari (optional) then it is good to do this today. The program will remain unchanged, except that you leave very early on day 3 to do the balloon safari and then make your game drive in Seronera or another area.

Day 4

Asanja Grumeti in Serengeti

After your bush breakfast you leave Moru and you go to Seronera, which is in the middle of the park. Because the Seronera river runs through it, this area is known for its large herds of ungulates and the many cats that live here. A great opportunity to spot lions and with luck you can also see the cheetah and leopard here. In the afternoon you drive to Grumeti where you sleep in another tented camp, Asanja Africa Grumeti, one of the best safari lodges of Tanzania, with only 3 very luxurious tents so the atmosphere is very intimate.

Day 5

Asanja Grumeti

Grumeti is famous for its eponymous river where many hippos are located. Here you will also be able to view these animals well. Crocodiles also live here, which are sometimes 6 meters long. A special sight.

You lunch in the camp where you can rest afterwards.

At the end of the afternoon you normally make a game drive and you can enjoy during a real sundowner the beautiful light during the sunset.

Day 6

Airstrip in Serengeti

Today is your last day in this beautiful park. During your last game drives the driver will take you to the airstrip for your flight to Arusha / Kilimanjaro / Zanzibar. From your plane you can once again enjoy the beautiful plains of this special park.
